NHL trade deadline: every trade that broke on March 1.


    Every year at the trade deadline, teams make many moves. This year, the trade deadline was at 3 P.M. on March, 1, 2017. Here is every trade that broke on March first (trades that broke from February 28 or sooner aren't on this list).
   
    San Jose Sharks acquire forward Jannik Hansen from the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for forward Nikolay Goldobin and a 2018 4th round pick (conditional).
    Montreal Canadiens acquire center Steve Ott in exchange for a 2018 6th round pick.
    Colorado Avalanche acquire forward Brandon Ranford from the Arizona Coyotes in exchange for forward Joe Whitney.
     Colorado Avalance acquire goalie Joe Cannata from the Washington Capitals in exchange for defenseman Cody Corbett.
     Florida Panthers acquire forward Thomas Vanek from the Detroit Red Wings in exchange for defenseman Dylan McIlrath and a 2017 3rd round pick. 
     Montreal Canadiens acquire winger Dwight King from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for a 2018 4th round pick (conditional).
     Los Angeles Kings acquire forward Jarome Iginla from the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for a 2018 4th rounder (conditional).
     Tampa Bay Lightning acquire goalie Mike McKenna from the Florida Panthers in exchange for goalie Adam Wilcox.
      Edmonton Oilers acquire winger Justin Fontaine from the New York Rangers for forward Taylor Beck.
      Columbus Blue Jackets acquire defenseman Kyle Quincey from the New Jersey Devils for defenseman Dalton Prout.
      Montreal Canadiens acquire forward Andreas Martinsen from the Colorado Avalanche for forward Sven Andrighetto.
      Tampa Bay Lightning acquire defenseman Mark Streit from the Philadelphia Flyers for center Valtteri Filppula, a 2017 4th round pick and a 2017 7th rounder (conditional).
       Nashville Predators acquire forward P.A. Parenteau from the New Jersey Devils for a 2017 6th round pick.
       Calgary Flames acquire forward Curtis Lazar and defenseman Mike Kostka from the Ottawa Senators for defenseman Jyrki Jokkipakka and a 2017 second rounder.
        Pittsburgh Penguins acquire defenseman Frank Corrado from the Toronto Maple Leafs for forward Eric Fehr, defenseman Steve Oleksy and a 2017 4th rounder.
        Pittsburgh Penguins acquire defenseman Mark Streit from Tampa Bay Lightning for a 2018 4th rounder.
        Boston Bruins acquire forward Drew Stafford from Winnipeg Jets for a 6th round pick (conditional).
         Columbus Blue Jackets acquire forward Lauri Korpikoski from the Dallas Stars for defenseman Dillon Heatherington.
         Chicago Blackhawks acquire forward Kenton Helgesen and 2019 7th rounder from Anaheim Ducks for forwards Sam Carrick and Spencer Abbott.
