NHL trade review: Habs acquire King from Kings

The Montreal Canadiens have acquired winger Dwight King from the Los Angeles Kings (I know, King from Kings) in exchange for a conditional 4th round pick in the 2018 NHL draft. Let's get into details.
The Habs look to make the playoffs. They are first in the Atlantic division with 78 points (a record of 35-21-8). After trading center David Desharnais, the Habs were looking for another depth forward. King can help them out in the playoffs. They didn't give up much. King, 27, has 15 points (8 goals and 7 assists) in 63 games this season. He has 108 points (52 goals and 56 assists) in 348 career NHL games, all with the Kings.
The Kings didn't need King, after trading for winger Jarome Iginla. It was an ok job by GM Dean Lombardi to get some value out of King. I think it was the right move.
